We can only know that we know nothing.
That is the highest degree of human wisdom.
            

Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment.  Because you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it.  It's not a mistake to make a mistake.  But it's a mistake to repeat the same mistake.  Don't trust everything you see.  Even salt looks like sugar.  Even a white rose has a black shadow.  Never believe in a one-sided story.  It always has some missing pages.  All stories have three sides: your side, their side, and the side of the truth.  Right is right, even if everyone is against it; wrong is wrong, even if everyone is for it.  You can fool all of the people some of the time and some of the people all of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time.  Truth can walk naked, but a lie always needs to be dressed.  You can only win when your mind is stronger than your feelings.

Beware of false knowledge; it is more dangerous than ignorance.  Standing in the middle of the road is very dangerous; you get knocked down by traffic from both sides.  Do not put each foot in a different boat.  The propagandist's purpose is to make one set of people forget that certain other sets of people are humans.  Acceptance of what has happened is the first step to overcoming the consequences of any misfortune.  We cannot direct the wind, but we can adjust the sails.  You don’t have to control your thoughts.  You just have to stop letting them control you.  If you don't separate yourself from distractions, your distractions will separate you from your goals.

Life is not a problem to be solved but a reality to be experienced.  If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.  A liar will get mad at you for knowing the truth.  Sometimes peace requires you to be quiet, even when you're right.  Sometimes things aren't clear right away.  That's where you need to be patient, persevere, and see where things lead.  You know what you know.  And you are the one who'll decide where to go.  Nothing in this world is harder than speaking the truth, and nothing is easier than flattery.  It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.  Your answers reveal your knowledge, while your questions reflect your thinking.

We are not human beings having a spiritual experience.  The mind is its own place and, in itself, can make a heaven of hell, a hell of heaven.  You must not lose faith in humanity.  Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.  The universe is under no obligation to make sense to you.  Sometimes people don't want to hear the truth because they don't want their illusions destroyed.  An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind.

There is no winner in the war; there is no loser in peace.  War does not determine who is right; it only determines who is left.  Peace is not the absence of conflict; it is the presence of justice.  When intentions are pure, the path becomes clear.  There is no path to peace.  Peace is the path.  There is no way to peace; peace is the way.

The dark does not destroy the light; it defines it.
