The Rules of Life
Each new day is a blank page in the diary of
our
life.
The secret of success is in turning that diary into the best story we possibly can.
ACCEPT YOURSELF
Fall in
love with taking care of yourself. When you know yourself, you are empowered. When you accept yourself, you are invincible. If you can't accept something, you need to change it. If you can't change it, you need to accept it. We are only haunted by the things we refuse to accept.
Be yourself, but always be your best self.
ATTITUDE
A bad attitude is like a flat tire.
You can't go anywhere until you change it. Don't start your day with the broken pieces of yesterday. Make peace with your broken pieces. Start each day with a grateful heart. Don't ruin a new day by thinking about yesterday.
The most important thing you'll ever wear is your attitude.
Develop and maintain a positive
attitude.
AVOID NEGATIVITY
Never go to a doctor whose office plants have died.
Negative feelings come from negative thoughts. A negative mind will
never give you a positive life; you can't live a positive life with a
negative mind. A positive mind always finds a reason to shine. The optimist sees the rose and not its thorns; the pessimist stares at the thorns, oblivious to the rose. Avoid negative thoughts, situations, and people. Dirty water doesn't stop plants from growing, so don't let negative words stop your progress. Live life to the fullest and focus on the positive. If you are positive, you'll see opportunities instead of obstacles.
BE GRATEFUL
Gratitude turns what we have into enough. Be
thankful for what we have; we’ll end up having more. It is not joy that makes us grateful. It is gratitude that makes us joyful. Be grateful for all the things that make your life bright, beautiful, and peaceful.
BE HAPPY
There is no beauty without happiness. Allow yourself to enjoy each happy moment in your life. When you love what you have, you have everything you need. Happy people focus on what they have. Unhappy people focus on what's missing.
BE HONEST
Flies don't think they are poisonous. Rats never think that what they eat is stolen.
Rather fail with honor than succeed with fraud. Never lie, never cheat, and never steal. Being honest may not make you many friends, but it will always make you the right friend.
Trust takes years to build, seconds to break, and forever to repair. Your body will not absorb cholesterol if you take it from another person's plate.
BE KIND
Kindness is a reflection of your soul; it doesn't cost a thing, yet it's the richest gift you can give. You have the power to make people feel good. Be kind to
unkind people. Be kind to everyone, not just mankind. Being a good person is a little like expecting the bull not to attack you because you are a vegetarian. Don't treat people as bad as they are; treat them as good as you are. Cultivating kindness is a valuable part of life.
BE RESPECTFUL
Respect yourself enough to deny access to anyone who doesn't. You can demand courtesy, but you have to earn respect.
Discipline yourself to do what you know is right and important. Never take a person's dignity for granted; it is worth everything to them and nothing to you. Don't judge by appearances. A rich heart may be under a poor coat. Treat everyone with respect. Take your heart on a peaceful journey.
BE RESPONSIBLE
Prioritize yourself and take full responsibility for your actions. Never put the key to your happiness in somebody else's pocket. Accept the consequences of your actions: apologize, ask for help, clean up your own mess, and think of others before you act.
RECOGNIZE YOUR MISTAKE
Everyone deserves a second chance, but not for the same mistake. Mistakes that gave you wisdom, and suffering that gave you strength. If you recognize a mistake, it takes assertiveness to say:
" Here's the error. I want you to know about it, and I'm going to take these corrective actions". Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen. Don't raise your voice; improve your argument. The first to apologize is the bravest. The first to forgive is the strongest. The first to forget is the happiest. No one is perfect. That's
why pencils have erasers.
BE SMART
Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom. Great decisions are made by ordinary people with extraordinary determination. Don't wait for the perfect moment; take the moment and make it perfect. Never expect
and never assume. Follow your heart, but take your brain with you.
BE STRONG
Every new day is a new chance to shine. A new chance to reach the sky. If you want to fly, give up everything that weighs you down. Ships don't sink because of the water around them; they sink because of the water that gets in them. Don't let what's happening around you get inside you and weigh you down. Never let your fear decide your fate. A bird sitting on a tree is never afraid of the branch breaking because her trust is not in the branch but in her own wings. If you don't spread your wings, you will not discover how far you can fly. Don't be afraid of being outnumbered.
Eagles fly alone. Pigeons flock together. If you hang out with
chickens, you're going to cluck. You can't soar like an
eagle when you surround yourself with
turkeys.
BITE YOUR TONGUE
Your mean words can scare a person for life. They can only be forgiven, not forgotten. If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all. If you can't be kind, be quiet. The
tongue has no bones but is strong enough to break a heart.
COURAGE TO
CHANGE
Life has no remote; get up and change it yourself. Bad habits are like a comfortable bed—easy to get into but hard to get out of. If you want something
new, you have to stop doing something old. Life does not get better by chance. It gets better with change. If you do not step forward, you will always be in the same place. Don't use the broken pieces to rebuild the old picture; instead, create a new one. Don't carry your mistakes around with you. Instead, place them under your feet and use them as stepping stones to rise above them. You must make the choice to take the chance if you want anything in life to change.
DON'T COMPARE
Everyone's on a different journey. Life is the most difficult exam; many people fail because they try to copy others, not realizing that everyone has a different question paper. A seed can't grow if it's constantly jumping from garden to garden. Never compare yourself to someone else. A flower does not think of competing with the flower next to it. It just blooms. When a flower doesn't bloom, you fix the environment in which it grows, not the flower. If the grass is greener on the other side, it's probably getting better care. Water your own grass. Don't grow green grass by focusing on a neighbor's garden; do it by nurturing your own. Instead of wasting time comparing your path to someone else's. The grass is green where you water it.
DON'T GIVE UP
The past is a stepping stone, not a
milestone. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up, show up, and never give up. If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door. If it doesn't work the first time, find another way. If you can't find a way, make one. You learn more from failure than from success; don't let it stop you. Everyone has bad days. You will never reach your destination if you stop and throw stones at every dog that barks
! Keep your head up, never give up, and keep moving forward until you reach your destination. If you get tired, learn to rest, not to quit. If you don't fight for what you want, then don't cry for what you lost.
HALT
Hungry -
Angry -
Lonely - Tired
Take time off. The world will not fall apart without you. Be enough for yourself first. The rest of the world can wait.
N A T O
No
Action Talk Only. Well done is better than well said. Talk is cheap; actions are priceless. Don't be a parrot; be an eagle. A parrot talks way too much and can't fly high, but an eagle is silent and has the willpower to touch the sky.
PEACE WITH THE PAST
The mind replays what the heart can't delete. Don't let yesterday take up too much of today. Cherish the past, but don't live in it. Make peace with your past so it won't spoil the present. If you don't let the past die, then it won't let you live. When the past calls, let it go to voicemail. Don't let the poison of the past spoil a fruitful future. Focus on being present and creating a better future. Rivers never go backward. So try to live like a river.
PREPARING YOURSELF
FOR TOMORROW
The only limit to our realization of tomorrow will be our doubts today. Yesterday's home runs don't win today's game. Change the game; don't let the game change you. If you don't like the road you're walking on, start paving another one. Expecting things to change without putting in any effort is like waiting for a ship at the airport. The best preparation for tomorrow is to do your best today.
SMILE
Your smile is your logo, your personality is your business card, and the way you make others feel is your trademark. A smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks. Make your smile cheaper and your anger more expensive. The most beautiful smile belongs to those who make others smile.
STAY HEALTHY
Maintain healthy and supportive relationships with others. The best health care plan is a self-care plan. Eat your food as your medicine; otherwise, you have to eat your medicine as your food. Remember to take care of yourself; you can't pour from an empty cup.
TOUCH BASE
Your character is who you are. Your reputation is who people think you are. Take care of your thoughts when you are alone, and take care of your words when you are with people.
Base is where you belong. Base is where you feel comfortable, secure, loved, restored, and trusted. Knowing others is intelligence; knowing yourself is true wisdom. Mastering others is strength; mastering yourself is true power. Knowledge will give you power, but good character will give you respect. The shape of your character is the shape of your future.
CHARACTER
Character is like a tree, and reputation is like a shadow. Your character is shaped by your choices, and your life is a result of the choices you make. When wealth is lost, nothing is lost; when health is lost, something is lost; and when character is lost, all is lost.
SELF-DISCIPLINE
Three
golden rules: Who is helping you.
Don't forget
them. Who is loving you. Don't
hate them. Who is believing in you.
Don't cheat
them.
Two
final rules: Number
1, Never Quit. Number
2, always remember rule number
1.
Life is a lively process of becoming; it is not about finding
yourself; it is about
creating yourself. Character develops itself in the stream of life. Each day is the scholar of yesterday, and can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.
That is what we make it, always has been, always will be.
Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated. If the road is beautiful, then worry about the destination, but if the destination is beautiful, then worry about the road. Honor your path and trust your journey. We know and understand that we have a limited time on earth and that we have no way of knowing when our time is up. We will then begin to live each day to the fullest.
We all have different journeys and paths.
Normality is a paved road. It is easy to walk on, but no flowers grow on
it. Without rain, nothing grows. Learn to embrace the storms in your
life. Appreciate where you are on your journey, even if it's not where you
want to be. The hardest part of the journey is believing you are worthy of
the trip.
Life is a journey with problems to solve and lessons to learn, but most of all, experiences to enjoy. When it rains, look for rainbows. When it’s dark, look for stars. Brighten up your day; you don’t own all the problems in the world. Have a happy heart. Clear mind. Peaceful life. We are here for a short visit, and be sure to smell the flowers along the way. Smell the rain and feel the wind. Live your life to its fullest potential and fight for your dreams.
